Fields on a live form can be hidden, not deleted

Once a registration form has been published, its fields and options can't be deleted. Deleting a field would also delete every answer people have already given in it, and your reports and receipts depend on those answers. You can hide the field instead, so new registrants never see it.

Before a form is published, you can delete any field: click it and choose Delete this Field.

Hide a field

  1. On the Edit Form page, click the field and choose Edit this Field.
  2. Scroll to the Visibility options and choose Only display to signed-in administrators.
  3. Click Save.

The field disappears from the public form. Its existing answers stay in your reports.

Hide one option in a field

To remove a single choice, such as a program that's now full or cancelled:

  1. Edit the field and click Edit beside the option.
  2. Click Hide this Option, then save.

Clean up for next season

Hidden fields are copied along with the rest of the form. When you copy this form for next season, delete the fields you don't need from the new copy before you publish it. The copy isn't published yet, so its fields can still be deleted.

If a field won't go away

If a field you've hidden or deleted still shows up, refresh the page and check again with Preview Public Form. If it's still there, email support@zone4.ca with the name of the registration and the field number.
