Effective Nov 23, 2020, Zone4 remittances each Thursday will encompass transactions up until the previous Sunday night instead of the previous Saturday night. Up until now, Saturday night at midnight easter time was the cut off date for transactions so this change to Sunday is a 1-day shift closer to the remittance day on Thursday when debits and credits are transferred. This change is the result of Zone4’s payment processor shifting their remittance schedule and it’s important to remain in sync with them to ensure clubs get their funds as quickly as possible.
If your club uses Zone4’s merchant account for processing, this change will affect which transactions are included in the following Thursday’s deposit. Funds collected up until Sunday at midnight will be deposited the following Thursday (if over your set remittance threshold.) This effectively means you get your money a bit faster than before.
If your club has its own merchant account (Stripe/Helcim), this change will affect which pending membership fees, processing fees, SMDL fees are included in that week’s debit. Transactions created up until Sunday at midnight will be included (if over the minimum debit threshold of $100 or after registration close.) Note that the deposit schedule and process for clubs that have their own merchant account (Stripe/Helcim) remain outside of Zone4 so are not affected by this change.
