## What can and can't be changed

-   The fees a code applies to can't be changed after you add the code.
-   Once your registration is live, the code itself and its amount can't be changed either.
-   The **Quantity** (how many times a code can be used) can always be changed.

This keeps every discount that's already been given consistent with the code that was used.

## Replace a code with a corrected one

1.  On the registration's **Settings** tab, open **Discount Codes**.
2.  Set the old code's **Quantity** to 0 so it can't be used again.
3.  Add a new code with the correct amount and fees, and send it to the people who need it.

If a code has never been used, [support@zone4.ca](mailto:support@zone4.ca) can delete it completely.

## Pause a code

Set its **Quantity** to 0. When you want to offer it again, clear the quantity or set a new limit.

## Can I offer more than one discount code?

Yes. Create as many codes as you need under **Discount Codes**. Your form needs only one discount code field at each level (group and individual), and registrants can enter any of your codes in it. Give each code a clear **Description**, because registrants see it after typing the code.

## Discounts for entering more than one event

To give people a discount for entering several races or days on the same form, use the all-event discount instead of a code. See [Using the “All Event Discount” feature](/kb/using-the-all-event-discount-feature/).

## If a code doesn't work for someone

Ask them to type the code rather than paste it. A pasted code can carry a hidden space that stops it from matching.
