Signing in with Facebook or Google

If you do not already have a Zone4 user account

You can click the “Sign in with Facebook” or “Sign in with Google” buttons to be signed in using your Facebook or Google credentials. A new Zone4 account will be created for you automatically.

If you already have a Zone4 user account

As long as the email address you use to sign in to Zone4 and the email address you use to sign in to Google or Facebook is the same address, you can click the “sign in with facebook” or “Sign in with Google” buttons to be signed in to your existing Zone4 account.

If the email address you use to sign in to Zone4 is different to the email address you use to sign in to Facebook or Google, clicking on the “sign in with Facebook” or “sign in with Google” buttons will create a new Zone4 account with no permissions. You will not be signed in to your existing Zone4 user account, and will not have access to any of the registration forms, races, or clubs you have access to with your old Zone4 account.

If you have a Facebook or Google account with a different email address to your Zone4 account and would like to be able to sign in with Facebook or Google, you can sign in to Zone4 with your email address and password, then navigate to the Password and User Settings page:

Then, scroll down to the Sign In Options section and click the link to “Enable Facebook sign-in” or “Enable Google sign-in”. You will be redirected to google or facebook and asked to authorize Zone4 to access your account, and then redirected back to the Zone4 where you’ll see the link changed to say “Enabled”.

Once your accounts have been linked through this method, you can sign in regardless of what email address is set on either account.

Note that facebook and google account linking is a 1:1 relationship – you cannot link multiple Zone4 accounts to the same facebook account, nor can you link multiple facebook accounts to the same Zone4 account. We strongly recommend that you do not share Zone4 accounts between multiple people – each person in your organization who needs to access Zone4 should have their own personal user account.
