Importing numbers into the registration data
You must do this BEFORE creating a race
On the registration form for the race, find the Validation tool:

On the next screen, make sure to select the Alberta Bicycle Association validation system – don’t chose CCC unless you want to import people’s cross country skiing points.

In the second half of that popup, you will match the fields in the validation system to the fields in your registration system. Some of these fields will not exist in your registration form (like federation number) and will be added as new admin-only fields. Others, like first and last name, will already exist in the registration form and should match automatically.
When you have matched up any fields that exist in your registration system, click the Use these field maps button.
After you click this button, the page should redraw with a list of suggested changes to the registration data, including any data that needs to be imported:

Scroll through the list of data that will be updated to make sure it looks correct, and then click the “Apply All Changes” button at the bottom of the page. It may spin for a while during data import, and then after that your plate and body numbers will be available in the registration and you can create new races.
Importing from the registration to the race
Create a race as normal, and after selecting the registration form to import from, check the Import Racer Numbers or Timing Chips box at the bottom of the screen.

Then, check the box beside Racer Numbers in the list of fields to import, and select the appropriate bib number field from the dropdown: in a road race, you’ll be using the “Road Body Number” field, and in an MTB race you’ll be using the “MTB Plate Number” field.
Finally, click the Create Race Button and all your racers will be imported to the timing software with the correct numbers.
